Let's continue our journey through the Tarot with the Magician and High Priestess cards
The Magician
This card is the number 1 in the Major Arcana, representing new beginnings and opportunities associated with the planet Mercury, manifestation and abundance.
Once gain we have a yellow background, symbolising happiness and optimism.
Notice the flowers blooming, representing the blossoming of new ideas as well as the fruition of ideas and aspirations.
The magician has one hand pointing upwards connecting him to the universe and the other pointing downwards connecting him to the earth, indicating that he abides between the spiritual and earthly material realms.
His red cloak represents worldly knowledge and experience, whilst his white tunic represents purity.
There is a pentagram on his table representing the elements of water, earth, air, fire and spirit.
There is also a goblet on the table representing abundance and manifestation.
The infinity symbol above his head allows the Magician to access unlimited potential.
Summary:
The Magician card is about abundance and manifestation, creating something in the spiritual realm and bringing it into life in the physical world.
Upright: Manifestation, resourcefulness, power and inspired action
Reversed: Manipulation, poor planning and untapped talents.

The Magician Card - Rider-Waite Tarot
The High Priestess
This card is the number 2 in the Major Arcana, representing Intuition and the feminine divine, offering a gateway to our subconscious minds and the wisdom of the universe.
This time we have a black and beige background representing balance between the spiritual and physical worlds.
Pomegranates represent abundance, fertility and divine femininity.
The crown on her head and cross on her clothing, represent divine knowledge and divine ruler.
The pillars symbolise the two large bronze pillars that stood at the entrance to Solomon's temple in Jerusalem, here they are depicted as black and white for duality, male and female and the darkness and light. The B on the left pillar is for Boaz meaning "in his strength", the J on the right pillar is Jachin and means "he will establish".
The moon represents connection with the divine, femininity, intuition and the subconscious.
The Veil behind her separates the conscious and subconscious realms.
The scroll is sacred knowledge that is to be earned.
Summary:
The High Priestess card is about going within for answers and trusting your intuition
Upright: Intuition, sacred knowledge, divine feminine and the subconscious.
Reversed: Secrets, disconnection, withdrawal and silence.
